Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 2026-09-11

A short list of things that get an account stopped, and a real procedure for reporting content that should not be here. It forms part of the terms of use.

What you may not upload

You are responsible for having the rights to everything you put into the studio. Beyond that, do not upload or create:

  • Content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights. This includes captures of an app that is not yours to represent, brand assets you have no licence to, and font files whose licence does not allow embedding in an exported image.
  • Sexual content involving minors, or any content whose possession or distribution is illegal where you or we are.
  • Content that harasses, defames or threatens a person, or that promotes violence against a group.
  • Material designed to deceive — a screenshot set built to impersonate another company’s product, a fake review, an interface that mimics a bank or a wallet — or anything intended to support a fraudulent app listing.
  • Malware, or files crafted to attack whoever opens them.

What you may not do with the service

The account and the tool are for making screenshot sets. Specifically, do not:

  • Use the account as general file storage for material that is not part of a screenshot project.
  • Probe, scan or test the security of the service without written permission, or try to reach data belonging to another account. Reporting a vulnerability you found without attacking anything is welcome — the security page says how.
  • Interfere with the service: automated request floods, scraping the site at a rate that degrades it, or working around the rate limits.
  • Circumvent a plan limit, including by tampering with the client-side export flow to avoid the file count. We know it is technically possible; doing it deliberately is a breach of the terms of use, not a clever trick.
  • Resell, sublicense, rent or repackage the studio itself, or run it as the engine of a competing screenshot service. Making screenshots for your clients is exactly what a paid plan is for; making a product out of ours is not.
  • Share one account among several people to avoid a charge that does not exist, or impersonate another person when creating one.
  • Copy our store rule data as a data set for another product.

What we do when something is wrong

In order, and we start at the top unless the law or the severity forces us to skip:

  • We email you and ask. Most of what looks like abuse from the outside turns out to be a misunderstanding of a limit.
  • We restrict the specific thing — a file, a project, an ability — and leave the rest of the account working.
  • We suspend the account, with an explanation and time to export, unless the content is illegal or the account is actively causing damage.
  • We close the account. Illegal content, fraud and repeated breach after warning are where this lands.

If you think we got it wrong, reply to the email. A person reads it, and decisions get reversed when they should be.

Questions about any of this

Write to support@easyappscreens.com. Ask before you buy rather than after: it is a shorter conversation and nobody has to ask for a refund at the end of it.
