Refund Policy
Last updated 2026-09-11
Every paid plan carries a 14-day refund window, the lifetime licence included. One email is enough, and you do not have to explain yourself.
The window
You have 14 days from the date of a payment to ask for it back. This covers the monthly plan, the yearly plan and the $149 lifetime licence equally.
You do not need a reason, and we will not put you through a retention script. We would rather refund you than have you keep a tool you do not open.
The window runs from each payment, so a renewal has its own: if a yearly plan renews and you realise within those days that you are done with it, that renewal is refundable too.
How to ask
Email support@easyappscreens.com from the address on your account, or ask Paddle directly from the invoice they sent you. Either route works; ours is usually faster to answer, and we aim to reply within 3 business days.
Tell us which payment you mean if there has been more than one. Nothing else is required.
How the money comes back
Paddle is the merchant of record for every sale, so Paddle issues the refund. It goes back to the card or account that paid — we cannot send it anywhere else, and neither can they.
Paddle releases the refund as soon as it is approved; how long it then takes to appear depends on your bank, and is usually a few business days and occasionally up to ten. The tax that was charged comes back with it.
You will get the credit note from Paddle by email. That document, not anything from us, is the one your accountant wants.
What happens to your access and your work
A refunded plan ends when the refund is processed, and the account returns to the free plan.
Your apps, your uploaded captures and your project documents stay exactly where they are; nothing is deleted because of a refund. What changes is what you can do next — the free plan’s limits apply again, and the export allowance already spent stays spent.
Files you already exported are yours to keep and to publish. We do not ask for them back and there is no licence that expires on them.
Switching plans is not a refund
Moving between the monthly and the yearly plan changes the price on the subscription you already have, and Paddle prorates the difference on the spot — you are not paying twice and there is nothing to claim back.
Buying the lifetime licence while subscribed cancels the subscription at the end of the period you already paid for, so the overlap is the period you had already bought rather than a double charge.
After the window
Past 14 days we do not refund as a matter of course, including for the lifetime licence and including a subscription period you did not use. What you can do at any moment is cancel: the plan runs to the end of the period you already paid for and then stops, with nothing further charged.
Two exceptions, and they are real ones. If we billed you for something you did not buy, or a charge went out that should not have, tell us and we will fix it whenever you notice. And where the law in your country gives you a stronger right to withdraw than this policy does, that law wins — nothing here is meant to reduce it.
If the product is discontinued
Discontinuation does not reopen the refund window. What it does carry is notice and time: the terms of use commit us to emailing every lifetime holder at least 6 months before any shutdown, with the studio kept running throughout so you can export everything you need. That commitment, and its limits, are written in the lifetime section of the terms.
Chargebacks
Please ask before disputing a charge with your bank. A chargeback costs both sides a fee and several weeks, and it forces us to suspend the account while it is open, which is worse for you than an email that gets answered in a couple of days.
A chargeback that succeeds ends the plan it paid for, the same as a refund does.
Questions about any of this
Write to support@easyappscreens.com. Ask before you buy rather than after: it is a shorter conversation and nobody has to ask for a refund at the end of it.
